Fitting Yourself What your bra should look like: The strap around your body should be firm but comfortable. If it is too loose and rides up your back, you are wearing too big a back size. The wires at the front should lie flat against your rib cage and should not rub, and your breasts should be enclosed in the cups with a smooth silhouette. If there is a bulging at the top or sides, or the wires are standing away from your chest, you are probably wearing a too small cup size. |

| Problem | Solution
|
| Straps slip off your shoulders | Backband is too loose. Backband should sit even-to slightly lower at the back, around the body. |
| Breasts are bulging out of the top or sides of cups and bust looks lumpy under clothes. | Cup size is too small. Your breast should be totally encased in the cups. |
| Wrinkling all over the cup, particularly at the top and sides. | Cup size is too big. Your breasts should be enclosed in the cups with a smooth silhouette. |
| Bra rides up your back or is not at the same level all the way around your body. Or the bra moves as you move around. | The bra is too big around your body. The strap should fit very snugly around your rib cage. |
| Wires stick out at the front or dig in under your arms. | Cup size is too small. The wires should lie flat against your body and fully encase your breasts |
| Straps dig into your shoulders. | The bra back size is probably too big as the main support for the breasts should come from the strap around your body and the cup, not the straps. The straps may be too tight. |
